At the Humber Mouth Yacht Club, we are dedicated to fostering a vibrant boating and water sporting community. Our mission is to promote sailing and other water sports, while ensuring the safety and enjoyment for all members.
In 1961, the Humber Mouth Yacht Club was opened at Tetney Haven.
The Yacht Club was built on the site of an old WW1 gun emplacement which forms the ground floor of the club house.
The Humber Mouth Yacht Club has been on this site for over 60 years.
The club looks directly out onto the Humber Estuary where you can see Haile Sand Fort, a little further in the distance you can see Bull Sand Fort and just beyond those there is Spurn Point.
The Humber Mouth Yacht Club is committed to providing memberships for all kinds of waters sports including, yachting, sailing, power boating, kayaking and paddleboarding.
The club RYA affiliated and is also supported by CASC.
We have a members only bar that is open most weekends and we put events on throughout the year.
We have a club house that is accessible 365 days a year and there are toilets and showers on site too.
Our HMYC members have to ability to camp on site via booking with the secretary at a very reasonable rate.
The sunrises here are one of the most photographed things in the UK.
The HMYC offers very reasonable annual subscriptions, and we think we are the best value for money club in the area, with a family friendly atmosphere.
We have several sections within the club
Yachts, Power, Dinghy, Kayak and Paddleboards and our members come from a variety of backgrounds with different levels of knowledge.
We pride ourselves in offering our members something that is all inclusive, which means you can enjoy the club with your family.
We strive to be a family friendly club and by being located directly onto a sandy beach this means you can take the little ones out to enjoy themselves too.
